The successful candidate for this position will primarily perform
board-level design of digital hardware for advanced wireless
communication systems. Other duties include design using programmable logic devices, providing hardware engineering input to proposals and other technical marketing efforts, and supporting cross-functional teams (systems/software/hardware). The initial assignment for this position is expected to be a new project that involves use of the Global Positioning System (GPS). This position requires the candidates to have a BS or equivalent degree, at least 3-5 years experience in board-level digital design and the associated design, I&T, and production processes, including preparation of formal design documentation and working with support personnel(e.g., drafting, configuration management). Experience with programmable logic devices,
such as Xilinx and Actel, is highly desirable. Security clearance(s) and familiarity with GPS and Wireless communications systems are pluses.
